Is the Library or Learning Commons open to visitors?

I am not a Marywood student, but would like to use the Library or LC. What library services are available to guests or visitors?

Guests and visitors are welcome to use the Learning Commons facilities during Library Service hours. 

 

 Today's Hours:

 

 

Visitors can access

  • Library seating and spaces (indoor and outdoor)
  • Library browsing materials, exhibits, displays
  • Archives and research assistance (by appointment)
  • Library print collection, children's books, and more!*
  • Study Grounds Cafe
  • Device charging stations

*Lackawanna County residents and University of Scranton students can borrow materials from the Marywood Library. Please visit the library main desk in-person with your public library, university, or other ID to set up a Community Patron Borrowing account. 

Visitors cannot access:

  • Wifi (sorry!)
  • Public computers
  • Printing
  • Lockers
  • Study Rooms (for use by current students only)
  • After-hours building access
  • Online subscription database access*

*If you are a visiting researcher, local high school student, or teacher, please contact us at: libraryhelp@maryu.marywood.edu *in advance of your visit* to inquire about a "walk-in" database day-pass.
